Stovetop simmer pot – in saucepan or small Crock-pot add: water, cinnamon sticks, apple peels, star anise, orange rinds and whole cloves, simmer on lowest heat.
Make dry potpourri – Add 10 to 15 drops of essential oil(s) like peppermint, fir, cinnamon, or citrus to one tablespoon of water in small spray bottle, spritz the potpourri ingredients on a baking tray. Dry the potpourri in oven for at least two hours at 200 degrees
